Welcome to Parkside Care Homes

We operate three residential care homes for the elderly in North Shields, Gateshead and Sunderland. Each of them is unique and individually designed to make them feel like a ‘home from home’. We offer excellent facilities and friendly, person centred care to meet every client’s individual needs.

As a family run business we understand how worrying it can be when a family member moves into care, and the importance of getting the care you expect for your loved ones. This is why we strive to provide a ‘home from home’ with the highest quality of care to try and resolve your anxieties.

Our care homes are all buildings with character and history and we invest consistently in the surroundings and furnishings. As traditional buildings every room is different and also decorated individually to detract from any feel of an institution. Residents are encouraged to individualise their rooms and many bring in favourite pieces of furniture, ornaments and pictures.
